Turkish defence firm, ASELSAN is showcasing a growing range of defence equipment and services at the ongoing show, in order to fulfill essential requirements of its clients in the field of defence and security. “As ASELSAN, we are excited to showcase our unique defense solutions that mainly focused on the needs of the Thai end users and the projects that we pursue in the region while determining the systems that we exhibit today,” a company spokesperson told Daily News, prior to the start of the show.
“Taking this into account, we have been in close contact with different Thai end users including Royal Thai Navy (RTN), Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) and Royal Thai Army (RTA) in different domains including border security, electro optics, naval solutions, remote controlled weapon systems (RCWS) and radars. Our main goal is to focus on long term relationships with our clients.”
The official added that ASELSAN is maintaining a significant presence at the show to highlight its state of art technologies already in use of various countries. On display at the show are a wide range of systems which are border security systems, naval system solutions and land platform solutions.
“Especially in the Asia & Pacific region we have been pursuing recent developments and on-going opportunities not only in regards to the defence and commercial opportunities, but also investment prospects,” the official said, adding that believing in the emerging potential of the region, ASELSAN is keen on building strategic underlying partnerships.
Currently, we are in service of more than 15 countries in the Asia & Pacific region with providing wide spectrum of state-of-the-art defence technologies in the domain of naval combat solution, weapon and air defence systems, the official also added.
ASELSAN’s solutions are being successfully used by several countries in the region such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. “In this regard, we would like to preserve our sustainable growth and determined to further increase our activities in order to gradually increase our presence in the Thailand as well,” the official indicated.
