ASELSAN’s Time Sensitive Network (TSN) based AAS Avionics Suite is being promoted by the company at IDEF as a state-of-the-art TSN high speed and highly reliable deterministic network avionics solutions in order to fulfil all the requirements of military and civilian rotary and fixed wing platforms.
Aseslan has widespread experience on design, production, test, integration, installation of high-tech avionic systems for fixed/rotary wing aircrafts and unmanned air vehicles comply with DO-178B/C, DO-254 DAL-A/DAL-B and DO-160G.
These avionic solutions include more than 20 different LRUs developed and verified
including mission and flight control computers, flight management systems, cockpit display
systems, mission management systems, intercommunication systems, inertial navigation
systems that have led to the development of Aselsan TSN AAS.
The Aselsan TSN AAS has been developed to be compatible with IEEE Time Sensitive Network (TSN) objectives in aerospace networks covering convergence of legacy busses on a deterministic, high performance backbone and certifiable, standards-based, deterministic, high bandwidth network.
As a result, a TSN based AAS avionics offers a cost effective certifiable solution
for both civil and military use cases.
The TSN AAS offers Distributed Integrated Modular Avionics (DIMA) suite with the aim of weight and power reduction including the core units such as ASELSAN Deterministic Network Switch (ADNS), Common Processing and Management Unit (CPMU) and Data Collection and Distribution Unit (DCDU), teaming up to form the structure of the TSN based avionics suite backbone.
