Embraer to Showcase Its Range of Products At Farnborough

Embraer returns to the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) from 18 to 22 July 2022, to showcase its commercial, defense, sustainability, and technology solutions at chalet C105/C106.

The company will also bring its E195-E2 and E190-E2 medium-range jet airliners, KC-390 military transport/tanker, and A-29 light attack aircraft on display at the product area E037.

“We are thrilled to be back at the Farnborough International Airshow and welcome our customers to explore Embraer’s commercial and military aircraft up close, as well as the full-size Eve eVTOL cabin that will be on display for the first time,” said Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer. “We will be flying both E2s, the KC-390 and the A-29 aircraft at the show on a blend of 39.06 % Sustainable Aviation Fuel, in line with our commitment to a more sustainable future and our renewable energy goals.”

Embraer’s planned activities at FIA2022 will include:

  • Unveiling of the all-new Eve´s eVTOL full-size cabin on Sunday at 10 am (at product area E037).
  • Aircraft concept designs – from new power sources to the shape of the airframe to sustainability
  • Aircraft visits for media/photographers on Monday and Tuesday at 3:00 pm, and on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 am (E037).
  • Flying display by the E2-190 “Tech Shark”.
  • Media briefing: Embraer Defense & Security and BAE Systems collaboration update on Tuesday at 11:15 am (E037).
  • Media briefing: Commercial Aviation sales and market outlook on Tuesday at 1 pm (E037).

The company successfully tested its E195-E2 aircraft with 100% Sustainable Aircraft Fuel (SAF) last June. The Pratt & Whitney GTF-powered airliner completed two days of ground tests at Fort Lauderdale International Airport, culminating in a 70-minute flight test at Vero Beach Regional Airport in Florida.

Its C-390/KC-390 military transport/tanker aircraft was first delivered to the Brazilian Air Force in 2019 and has been selected by the air forces of Hungary, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

Embraer’s A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft has been chosen by more than 15 air forces worldwide, with a total production of over 260 units delivered.
