Liebherr-Aerospace and AAR have announced the signing of a General Terms Agreement (GTA). Under this agreement, Liebherr will grant licence rights to the American aftermarket solutions company to maintain, repair, and service the company’s products for a period of ten years.
These services will be carried out at AAR’s Component Services facilities and will cover Liebherr’s flight control, environmental control, and thermal management components. The GTA also includes a power-by-the-hour contract for several AAR partner companies.
“This GTA is a big step for us, and we are delighted to be working with AAR,” says Joël Cadaux, Director Business & Services – Customer Services at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS. “With this agreement we ensure an even larger service network for our customers – with the usual, reliable Liebherr high quality. The agreement is a sign of the long-term trusting relationship between our two companies.”
“This relationship enhances our comprehensive support for a wide range of Liebherr products. AAR is enthusiastic about meeting these component repair needs across our global locations,” said Jim Berberet, Senior Vice President of Component Services at AAR.
