Schmidt and Bender is showcasing at the ongoing show its technically advanced riflescope 1-8x24 PM ShortDot Dual CC, as well as solution for mid up to extreme long-range shooting, the 6-36x56 PM II High Performance, and the extremely compact 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short, with a brilliant optical performance and a large field-of-view on low power.
“We are here with a wide range of riflescopes that leave no customer wishes unfulfilled,” a company spokesperson said.
The 1-8x24 PM ShortDot Dual CC
According to the spokesperson this is a most technically advanced riflescope, since the 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC combines – in an 8x zoom– a daylight bright illuminated red dot in Second Focal Plane with a First Focal Plane tactical reticle. “This being said, it can be used as a red dot sight for quick engagement of close targets while the MilDot based reticle can be used for accurate ranging and compensation for hold-offs and hold-under/over. The generous eye box/exit pupil supports fast acquisition on any magnification. These combined features create the most advanced multipurpose Close Combat and mid-range riflescope design,” the official said.
The 6-36x56 High Performance
“Like all of our PM II riflescopes, we designed and manufactured this 6x zoom riflescope according to MIL-STD- 810G for handling the harshest environments. Outstanding image quality with a wide field-of-view (FOV) provides superior detail recognition. Reduced weight and size makes it very compact while the new LPI illumination also enables left handed use. The efficient 6-36x magnification range can be combined with a 39.5 MRAD MTII elevation turret which supports more precise shot placements,” according to the official.
The 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short
The brilliant optical performance and a large field-of-view on low power makes the 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short a perfect riflescope for medium and long-range targets, according to the company official. Although extremely compact, it features a powerful 6.7x zoom which is rugged and lightweight and therefore ideal for compact weapon systems. The low-profile elevation turret with a large 35 MRAD adjustment range can easily be combined with a red dot sight for close distances. This is why it is in use by military, police and competition shooters around the world.
