ASELSAN will participate in LAAD 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 1-4 April, as it seeks to strengthen its presence in Latin America. The company will showcase a range of defence and security technologies, aiming to foster regional partnerships and explore new opportunities to support Latin America’s growing security needs.
At stand G50, ASELSAN will display its air-launched munitions, including the SADAK 2T smart twin carriage rack, TOLUN GPS/INS-guided munition, GÖZDE 82 laser precision guidance kit, and LGK 82 laser guidance kit. In the public security sector, the company will present solutions such as the ASTELA 3710 mission-critical hand-held radios, the MİDAS intrusion detection system, and the ODAKAN “CityGuard” surveillance product family.
ASELSAN has already been involved in several modernisation projects in Latin America, including upgrades to Leopard 2A4 tanks for the Chilean Land Forces and efforts to enhance border security in the region. With a newly established office in Santiago, Chile, the company continues to seek opportunities for collaboration, offering upgrade programmes aimed at extending the operational life of land, air, and naval platforms.
