Scheduled to take place at the Exhibition Hall, South Apron, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport from 18 to 19 September, the dialogue programme is organised in partnership with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. It aims to engage stakeholders and experts in discussions on various topics, including sustainable aviation fuels, sustainable aviation, and Indonesia’s air defence industry.

“This airshow is a testament to Indonesia’s commitment to leading the way in sustainable aviation and defence advancements,” said Mr Pandjaitan. “As we aim to promote Indonesia’s role as a global leader in the aviation industry and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), we are bringing together global experts to share insights and collaborate on shaping the future of these critical sectors.”

  3. Indonesia’s Growth in the Global Aviation Market
    Date & Time: 19 September 2024, 10:00-11:15 UTC+8
This session will examine Indonesia’s aviation sector and its goal of becoming one of the world’s largest air travel markets by 2037, highlighting the country’s reliance on air travel due to its geography and the industry’s recovery from the pandemic.
  4. Indonesia’s Potential in SAF Feedstock Production
    Date & Time: 19 September 2024, 14:00-15:15 UTC+8

The airshow will highlight Indonesia’s influence in the global aerospace and defence sectors by focusing on sustainable aviation, air defence, and the future of air travel. It will serve as a platform for collaboration and discussion among industry leaders.

“We are excited to welcome exhibitors, trade visitors, and the visiting public from around the world to the Bali International Airshow. With the various programs we offer, including networking opportunities and business sessions, we hope to facilitate productive collaborations and drive the aviation industry forward,” said Andy Wismarsyah, CEO of PT Inaro Tujuh Belas, the organiser of the event.
