PTDI Bags N219 Order

PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has bagged an order for its N219 at Indo Defence 2022.

The Indonesian state-owned aircraft maker, which highlights the N219A (amphibious) among many of its products, has bagged one of the first contracts for the N219 that the N219A is based on.

“At this international event, in addition to getting a contract for the procurement of 1 CN235-220 aircraft from the Indonesian Ministry of Defence, we will also sign a contract to purchase 11 N219 aircraft by a private company, Karya Logistik Indonesia (KLI) with a passenger transport configuration,” said PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan in his statement at the first day of the event (Nov. 2).

The Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) will be the recipient of a new CN235-220 aircraft valued at IDR 748 billion (about USD 47.5 million).
