إنطلق مؤتمر الدفاع الدولي 2021، اليوم، 20 فبراير 2021 تحت رعاية الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس دولة الإمارات.
ويجمع مؤتمر الدفاع الدولي أكثر من 26 خبيراً ومتخصصاً من مختلف أنحاء العالم على أرض الواقع في مركز أدنوك للأعمال وافتراضياً من خلال منصات التواصل العالمية، لمناقشة ازدهار وتطور الذكاء الاصطناعي والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة وحمايتهما في عصر الثورة الصناعية الرابعة.
وسيستقطب افتراضياً أكثر من 2.000 من قادة وخبراء قطاع الدفاع العالميين من 80 دولة. كما ستشارك أكثر من 900 شركة عارضة من 59 دولة، بالإضافة إلى مشاركة 35 جناحاً وطنياً
ومن المتوقّع أن يستقطب المعرضان ما يزيد على 70 ألف زائر محلي ودولي، على مدار الأيام الخمسة للمعرضين، إلى جانب 110 وفود دولية أكدوا حضورهم، ومن المنتظر أن يشارك في التغطية الإعلامية ما يزيد على 500 إعلامي من 64 دولة حول العالم.
وينعقد المؤتمر الذي تنظمه شركة أبوظبي الوطنية للمعارض “أدنيك” ومجلس التوازن الاقتصادي “توازن”، بالتعاون مع وزارة الدفاع والقيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، من الساعة 08:00 صباحاً وحتى 02:00 ظهراً، وذلك قبيل انطلاق معرضي “آيدكس 2021” والدفاع البحري “نافدكس 2021” اللذين يقامان في الفترة من 21 ولغاية 25 فبراير/شباط المقبل في مركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض.
وتشهد الدورة الحالية كذلك مشاركة 4 دول جديدة، المرة الأولى، وهي: مقدونيا الشمالية، وأذربيجان، ولوكسمبورغ، والبرتغال. في ظل غياب إسرائيل التي كان متوقعاً مشاركتها بأكثر من عشر شركات، غير أن الظروف الإحترازية المتعلقة بكوفيد-19 وتجاوزت نسبة الشركات الدولية العارضة ما نسبته 84 في المئة من مجموع العارضين، في حين وصلت نسبة الشركات الوطنية العارضة إلى 16 في المئة من مجموع الشركات، الأمر الذي يعكس مدى الاهتمام الدولي بمعرضي «آيدكس» و«نافدكس»، إضافة للمستوى المتطور الذي وصل إليه قطاع الصناعات الدفاعية على الصعيد المحلي.
وتجاوزت المساحة الإجمالية لمناطق العروض الداخلية والخارجية للمعرضين 155 ألف متر مربع، كما وصلت مساحة العروض الخارجية والمائية على الرصيف البحري لأدنيك إلى 81 ألف متر مربع.
كما سيشهد معرض «نافدكس» مشاركة أكثر من 70 شركة عارضة من 16 دولة، بالإضافة لاستقطابه أكثر من 17 قطعة بحرية وزورقاً تشارك من 10 دول. وسيتم عرض هذه القطع البحرية على الرصيف البحري في منطقة المارينا المقابلة لمركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض، بالإضافة إلى منطقة العروض الخاصة في ميناء زايد.
